Back in 2006, Beyond Group started out as Beyond Foam, and we’ve quickly grown into five different divisions with 90 people on staff today.

We excel at more than one type of construction enterprise, so sometimes clients aren’t sure who the right person is to talk to about their project. Often, there’s more than one aspect to a project where more than one Beyond Group staff can answer questions or concerns. To make who to contact a little easier for our clients, we’ve got a rolodex below of who’s who at Beyond.

What Do You Need Answers For?

Whether you have questions about a product or service, or a current project, we’ve compiled a quick contact list for specific inquiries in each division. We’ve broken the contacts down to threeindividuals per division to help make it easier to get in touch.

Do you need a quote about a potential project? Talk to Sales.

Do you want to know what’s happening on your existing project, or have a technical question about an active job? Call ProjectManagement.

Need to ask about what is happening on your project and when? Get in touch with Scheduling.

Beyond Insulation

From fiberglass batt and poly to mineral wool, spray foam and cellulose, we install insulation in walls and attics and everywhere in-between for residential and commercial projects.

The insulation division covers all types of insulation services, including spray foam, but we also provide asbestos abatements and mold remediation.

After asbestos removal, we spray the area with a product called “Fiberlock” which removes all dust and encloses all fiber and dust particles within the asbestos remediation area. A final air clearance test is taken to ensure the air is at the minimum, better than the pre-work sample.

Beyond Lifting

When the ground settles around a home, concrete sidewalks, paths and patios are prone to sinking, creating a tripping hazard. Poor water drainage and underground springs can also contribute to soil erosion and voids, but with deep foam injection Beyond can counter those effects and make your concrete level again.

At Beyond Lifting we use special foam products that can either lift the sunken concrete or, if possible, fill the empty space under the pad before it sinks and causes issues.

We also install Rock Glue that binds loose rock to prevent rock scattering. Rock Glue is resistant to erosion and is environmentally friendly. It can be used in a variety of applications such as drainage ditches, canal walls, and culverts.

Beyond Roofing

Beyond Roofing offers full roofing services including new roof, re-roof, repair, and roof maintenance options to residential, commercial, and industrial clients.

The main focus of our Roofing department is low slope or flat roofing systems. There are two primary types of roofing systems that these types of roofs can have installed.

First is theSBS (Styrene Butadiene-Styrene) AKA torch-on roof system, the second is - a SPFRS (Spray-applied Polyurethane Foam Roof System) which Beyond specializes in.

An SPFRS can lessen the long-term cost and provide a renewable and seamless roof that lasts for many years, and in many cases can eliminate the need for a full roof tear-off, saving thousands in labor costs.

Beyond Coating

Coatings can have many purposes. They can prevent corrosion, protect against abrasion, as well as seal and preserve infrastructure. Coatings can help us protect ourselves, our families, our assets, and our environment.

Protective Coatings are a service that involves infrastructure that requires coatings to be applied to a surface to protect it.

Coatings can serve as a visual aid to make things look nicer, but it is designed to increase the life of an asset against things like corrosion and rust.

Beyond also provides full secondary containment solutions. Secondary containment is like a backup layer installed in a container such as a tank or pipe keeping it safe from erosion and leaks.

There are no limitations to what can be coated. Metal, concrete, plastic, glass, wood, drywall; the sky is the limit.

Beyond Thermal

Beyond Thermal uses a variety of materials to meet the fireproofing and firestopping needs of our commercial contractors. Our Thermal division covers services for commercial, institutional, multi-family, industrial and healthcare facilities across Calgary and Western Canada.

From mineral fiber to gypsum based fireproofing products, we provide installation services where fire rating is required.

More than just fireproofing, many of the materials we also provide soundproofing, humidity control and abrasion resistance.

Firestopping uses UL tested and listed systems to prevent the spread of fire and smoke from one area of a building to another.

Beyond Thermal is a UL Qualified Firestop Contractor and an active member of the Firestop Contractors International Association (FCIA).

These credentials show that our firestopping work follows audited quality processes, advanced training, and recognized industry best practices.

Intumescent paint is a specialized coating that expands when exposed to heat, forming a protective layer of insulation that can significantly increase the fire resistance rating of structural elements and surfaces. In addition to its fire-retardant properties, intumescent paint can also provide a high-quality architectural finish, making it a popular choice for a wide range of applications in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Acoustical spray and thermal spray are two popular spray-applied coatings used in building construction and maintenance.Acoustical spray is a type of soundproofing material that is sprayed onto walls and ceilings to reduce noise levels. It is made from materials such as cellulose, fiberglass, and mineral wool, which absorb sound waves and reduce noise levels. Acoustical spray is often used in commercial and industrial buildings, as well as residential properties, to create a more comfortable and peaceful environment.

Thermal spray, on the other hand, is a type of insulation material that is sprayed onto surfaces to improve thermal performance. It is made from materials such as polyurethane foam, fiberglass, and mineral wool, which provide excellent thermal insulation and energy efficiency. Thermal spray is commonly used in industrial and commercial buildings, as well as residential properties, to improve energy efficiency and reduce heating and cooling costs. Both acoustical spray and thermal spray are effective and affordable options for improving the comfort and functionality of buildings, making them an essential part of modern construction and maintenance practices.
