Guarantees
When it comes to concrete, the industry can be quite volatile as we run into a lot of unknowns.
When dealing with a settled concrete slab, the best, first step is to call a professional. At Beyond Group, we’re happy to come to you to see if there is something we can help with.
We will tell you if we can fix the issues or if we can’t, or if it’s even worth taking on.
While we strive to do our best, we can’t always guarantee that we will be able to lift a slab of concrete or rectify the soil problems.
There is a small percentage of our projects that don't actually turn out the way we had hoped. Whether it’s a concrete slab that cannot be moved at all, or it’s on a spectrum between where it currently is and where we want it to be.
So, before we commit to a job, our estimators will carefully identify any issues by asking questions such as, is this pad going to move? What do we think our success rate is on this particular area based on what we see?
After carefully evaluating the situation, our crews can anticipate what can be expected based on what we can see at the site, to what all is needed to be done in advance before our workers arrive on the scene. There are occasions where we can help coordinate other trades that might be needed as well.
Visual cues like ties or brackets that are holding the concrete slab together, especially if something was retrofitted to accommodate the slab settling, are items we need to address before we can commit to fixing the problem. If those things can be removed, we can send our team out to finish the job.
Every now and then we encounter unforeseen things with how the concrete slab was constructed or how it’s settled, and our team just can't lift for reasons that we can't identify. And therefore, we can't address the problem or figure out what's causing it, like what's holding the pad down, for example.
The reality of concrete lifting is sometimes we make the commitment to help and it turns out the concrete won’t move for any number of reasons. In that case, the client isn’t happy, and our crews aren't either because we might have believed wholeheartedly that we could help, and then our hands are tied.We hate leaving work undone and not solving the problems we committed to solving. But when we can’t do everything we planned to, we make sure to take care of our clients to the best of our ability regardless.
Warranties
There are three criteria werequire a concrete driveway, patio, etc to meet in order to offer the warranty:age of the construction, water drainage management, and sealing larger cracks and joints. We’ll get into more detail of each of these below.
We offer 15-year warranty on our void filling and concrete lifting work. If a concrete pad we lifted settles again within a 15-year period, we’ll come and lift it.
